The
Office of Public Services keeps
the public informed about the Department's programs
and activities through publications, videos and marketing
programs. Staff members also respond to inquiries from
the public sector.
Additionally,
the office produces a monthly magazine, OutdoorIllinois, which is sold at Barnes & Noble, through our IDNR
Office, and online. The magazine focuses on state park
sites, fishing, hunting and all forms of outdoor recreation.
The
Office of Public Services serves as headquarters for DNR's
still photography.
The information and licensing needs of Chicagoans are
met by the Chicago branch of the Office of Public Services,
which is located in Suite 4-300 of the James R. Thompson
