08/22/16 - Due to poor crop production Marseilles State Fish and Wildlife Area will be altering its dove hunting program. There will be no drawing for 2016. Dove hunting will be allowed according to Statewide regulations. Monday thru Thursday starting Sept. 01 2016. Hunters are required to sign in and out at gate #60, dove hunting is limited to the dove field north of hunter parking lot #60.
Marseilles State Fish & Wildlife Area is a 2,550 acre site managed by the IDNR as a Hunting and Habitat management site. The site is jointly
used by the Illinois National Guard for training when the hunting seasons are closed.
- While groups of 25 or
more are welcome and encouraged to use the park's facilities, they are required
to register in advance with the site office to avoid crowding or scheduling
- At least one responsible
adult must accompany each group of 15 minors.
- Pets must be kept on
leashes at all times.
- Actions by nature can
result in closed roads and other facilities. Please call ahead to the park
office before you make your trip.
