INTRODUCTION: The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is responsible for providing outdoor recreation opportunities for the resident of this State. This area is rolling with steep hills and deep hollows, covered with mature timber of oak-hickory type.

TRAPPING: A drawing for trapping privileges will be held in conjunction with the drawing at Mississippi River State Fish and Wildlife Area.
OTHER SITE FACILITIES: Trailer and tent camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing, boating, horseback riding, restaurant and lodging are available at nearby Pere Marquette State Park.
