HUNTING REGULATIONS
- Severe weather
and safety conditions can result in closing all or part of the lake.
- It will
be unlawful to possess or consume alcoholic beverages while hunting in the
area.
- Hunters
under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
AREA REGULATIONS - WATERFOWL
- Hunting shall be within
10 feet of assigned stake only.
- No moving from assigned
stake to other staked sites.
- Hunters must park within
designated parking only.
- No motorized vehicles
in fields.
- Following completion
of hunting, harvest cards must be filled out and places in hunter harvest
box.
- Hunting is allowed Wednesday,
Saturday, and Sunday only, during Central Zone Duck and Goose Season.
- Hunting hours are from
legal opening until 1:00pm
- Hunters are restricted
to possession of (5) five shot shells per goose in daily bag limit when duck
season is closed, (25) twenty five shot shell possession when goose season
and duck season are concurrent.
- No fishing from October
1 through April 1st.
- At no time are hunters
permitted to enter the waterfowl refuge unless given permission by Department
personnel in charge of this area.
- Drawings will be held
at the Rick Lake check station at 4:30am on Wednesday,
Saturday and Sundays.
- Hunters with a reservation can bring up to 3 partners (hunters or non-hunters). There is no charge for hunting at Double T.

- Dove hunting is steel
shot only, size 6 or smaller. A drawing will be held 1 hour before sunrise at the site office
if there are more hunters than can be accommodated for the first 5 days of dove season. After the first 5 days, statewide regualtion apply.
