NAME: Weldon Springs State Park - Piatt County Unit (Satellite of Weldon Springs State Park)

LOCATION: Weldon Springs - Piatt County Unit is located 2.5 miles southwest of Monticello on Allerton Road.

SITE REGULATIONS:

1. Hunters will need to go to the IDNR website to print out a site hunting permit (online windshield card) for upland/forest game for each state site you intend to hunt.  www.dnr.illinois.gov
2. Spring Turkey and Firearm Deer permits must be applied for through the DNR permit office.
3. Archery Deer hunting is open to anyone with the appropriate State deer archery license. You MUST harvest an antlerless deer prior to harvesting an antlered deer.
4. Tree stands must have the hunters name, address and phone number clearly attached and clearly visible on the stand. All stands must be removed daily.
5. No nails, screws or other implements that pierces the tree bark.
6. Squirrel hunting is by shotgun only.
7. No fall archery turkey hunting allowed.
