Family Cottidae--Sculpin Family

Sculpins have a large mouth, large fanlike pectoral fins, one to four spines at the front of the gill cover, no or few scales and two dorsal fins.

slimy sculpin--Cottus cognatus
spoonhead sculpin--Cottus ricei [extirpated]
deepwater sculpin--Myoxocephalus thompsoni
