CONCLUSION
Participating in any of the above mentioned activities will help
improve the status of Illinois' wetlands. Undertaking a restoration
project and participating in the regulatory process are two of the
most effective ways to improve the status of these valuable resources.
There are also a number of activities not mentioned here that have
a positive effect on wetlands. Individuals wishing to participate
